Brian Eno, Lee Scratch Perry, Giorgio Moroder Announced For Red Bull Music Academy NYC

The Red Bull Music Academy today announced the complete line-up for the 15th edition of its music festival and conference to be held in New York City this spring and which will include 230 artists playing 37 shows at 34 venues between April 28 – May 31.

Among the many scheduled events are: an installation of Brian Eno’s “77 Million Paintings;” Giorgio Moroder’s first-ever DJ set; a history of Dub performance with Lee Scratch Perry, Adrian Sherwood, the Congos and Sun Araw; the U.S. premiere of Oscar and Grammy Award winner Ryuichi Sakamoto and Alva Noto acclaimed “s” performance; a Masters at Work DJ set; Pantha Du Prince & The Bell Laboratory’s “Elements Of Light” show; and the 12th anniversary party for NYC’s DFA Records.

If you’re out in New York, you definitely have to make the time to check out these showcases. They are not to be missed!
