Hello everyone,

With the holidays just around the corner, it seems like music lovers are in the giving spirit! Since Garrett Pierce’s latest album, City of Sand, was first released in November, we’ve had a slew of people let us know just how much they loved the record.

From Ellenwood:

On initial listen, Los Angeles native Garrett Pierce’s music transports the listener to the sun-bleached beach towns of California, and the calm melodies echo the optimism of the Golden State’s starry-eyed dreamers and searchers. But, listen closely, and the tracks on City Of Sand reveal a darker, more realistic view, complete with broken stars and the knowledge that all that glitters is not gold. This is the world of Garrett Pierce.

From CosmosGaming:

Pierce continues his growth into a singer/songwriter/composer of true depth and insight into the American character, recalling such diverse wordsmiths as Leonard Cohen and Henry Miller. Sonically, tracks jump from the driving pop melody of “(On Route To) Antigua” to the delicate, haunting balladry of “Santa Anita,” with a healthy mix of alt-country and straight-forward rock thrown into the mix.

If you’re looking to nab a City of Sand for yourself, head on over here and pick up a copy today!
